The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has announced that renowned Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 de Ultimate, will be blacklisted from flying within Nigeria for six months due to alleged misconduct at the domestic terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the NCAA, Michael Achimugu, made this known during a press briefing on Thursday, affirming that the musician’s actions were in violation of aviation safety regulations.
He emphasized that no individual, regardless of status or influence, is above the law when it comes to aviation security and public safety.
Achimugu further disclosed that the NCAA is collaborating with the Attorney General of the Federation and the Inspector General of Police to initiate legal proceedings against the artist.
