Kebbi State Police Command has arrested 11 men for taking advantage of a 13 year old girl and impregnating her.The arrests were made on July 13, 2025 in Tungar Giwa village, Shanga LGA of Kebbi State by policemen acting on intelligence.
In a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Nafiu Abubakar, “The suspects took advantage of one Sa’ima Dauda, female, aged 13 years, who walked around in the village due to unsound mind by giving her money ranging from N200 to N500, lured her severally in different locations and had sexual intercourse with her which resulted to pregnancy and she safely delivered a baby boy on 8th July, 2025.”
Abubakar added “efforts are being intensified to arrest the remaining fleeing suspects and ensure diligent investigation.”
The spokesman noted that the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello Sani has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department to intensify efforts in arresting the remaining two fleeing suspects and ensure diligent investigation.
