n a bold show of commitment to peace and security in the Niger Delta, the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has announced a ₦10 billion contribution to the Delta State Security Trust Fund.
Tompolo made the pledge on Wednesday during the official launch of the Delta State Security Trust Fund held at the Government House, Asaba, with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, top government officials, security chiefs, traditional rulers, and community leaders in attendance.
The gesture, described by many as unprecedented, underscores Tompolo’s continued partnership with the Delta State Government in promoting peace, protecting vital national assets, and supporting the fight against oil theft and other criminal activities in the state.
While announcing the donation, Tompolo commended Governor Oborevwori for his proactive leadership and sustained efforts to enhance security architecture across the state, adding that safety and stability were crucial for the development and prosperity of the Niger Delta region.
“This contribution is our way of supporting the Delta State Government’s noble initiative to strengthen security and safeguard our communities,” Tompolo said.
“Security is everyone’s responsibility, and as partners in progress, we must all work together to sustain peace in our state and the entire Niger Delta.”
Oborevwori, in his remarks, lauded Tompolo for the magnanimous gesture, describing it as a patriotic and selfless act that would significantly boost the operational capacity of the state’s security agencies.
He noted that the Delta State Security Trust Fund was established as a public-private partnership platform to mobilize resources for modern security infrastructure, logistics, and intelligence gathering to ensure a safer environment for investment and development.

”The launch of the Security Trust Fund is part of the Oborevwori administration’s broader initiative to create a sustainable security framework that enhances community collaboration, protects oil and gas installations, and promotes investor confidence.
