The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested popular Lagos socialite, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, widely known as Pretty Mike, alongside over 100 others during a midnight raid on Proxy Nightclub, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The operation, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, followed credible intelligence about a drug party at the club located at 7 Akin Adesola Street.

In a statement issued on Sunday, NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said the raid was carried out as part of the agency’s ongoing clampdown on illicit drug use in nightlife venues across Lagos.

“NDLEA operatives, who were embedded at the party from around 11 p.m. on Saturday, disrupted the event at about 3 a.m. on Sunday in line with our Standard Operating Procedures,” Babafemi stated.

He said several cartons of illicit substances, including ‘Loud’ (a potent strain of cannabis) and laughing gas (nitrous oxide), were recovered from partygoers and the club’s storage area.

Among those apprehended was former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tuoyo, alongside the nightclub owner and other attendees.Babafemi confirmed that all the suspects, including Pretty Mike, were taken into custody for screening and further investigation, noting that the operation underscores NDLEA’s resolve to dismantle networks promoting drug abuse within entertainment circles.

“This operation is part of our renewed efforts to ensure that nightlife establishments do not become safe havens for drug abuse or trafficking,” Babafemi added.

He assured that those found culpable after the ongoing investigation would face prosecution in accordance with the NDLEA Act.
