The operation was conducted by troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, on June 14, 2026, around the Dogon Daji general area of Dandi Local Government Area, according to a statement issued on Monday by the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, 8 Division Nigerian Army and Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Lt. Osoba said the troops brought overwhelming firepower to bear on the terrorists during the encounter, forcing them to abandon their positions and flee.
