The Mandate Forum, a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, has accused the party leadership of marginalising its members in the allocation of ward executive positions and local government political offices.
The group, which threatened to boycott the 2027 elections, called on President Bola Tinubu to urgently intervene in what it described as a deliberate exclusion.
According to the group, the Justice Forum, led by Hon. James Faleke, alongside the APC state chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, allegedly sidelined Mandate Forum members during the distribution of local government party offices.
Members of the group, who arrived in buses reportedly mobilised from various Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), carried placards with inscriptions such as “Ojelabi Must Go” and “President Tinubu, Save Us from Political Desperadoes.”
They insisted that the alleged injustice must be addressed before the 2027 elections.
