According to a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Mrs. Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, the calendar was finalised following extensive consultations with education stakeholders led by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, through the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA).
