– Advises Public to Beware of Internet Fraudsters and Fake Admission Offers into the Academy
The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) has warned members of the public to be wary of internet fraudsters and impostors posing as officials of the academy, and offering fraudulent admission through fake websites, blogs, and social media platforms/handles.
The Commandant, AIG Patrick Adedeji Atayero said that the only “official platform for processing admissions into the academy is the institution’s official website: [www.polac.edu.ng](http://www.polac.edu.ng).”
He cautioned “prospective cadets, parents, and guardians not to make any payments to unauthorized individuals or platforms, reiterating that admission into the Nigeria Police Academy is entirely free of charge.
”In a statement signed by the academy’s PRO, DSP Umar Isah, the Commander noted that the “2024/2025 admission process has officially closed, and was strictly based on merit and due process.”
