The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has commenced the physical verification of credentials and travel documents for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates who registered for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Service Year.

According to a statement issued by the NYSC Management and shared on its official X handle on Sunday, the exercise will hold from Monday, November 10 to Wednesday, November 12, 2025, across designated centres nationwide.

The Corps explained that the verification is for prospective corps members whose credentials have not been physically confirmed after completing their online registration. It urged all participants to strictly adhere to the date, time, and venue indicated on their verification slips to ensure orderliness and prevent overcrowding.

The statement listed the verification centres as: NYSC Secretariat, 2 Abakaliki Road, GRA, Enugu; Shadawanka Military Barracks, Bauchi; NYSC Orientation Camp, Kubwa, Abuja; Bukavu Military Barracks, Fagge, Airport Road, Kano; NYSC Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos; NYSC Secretariat, New Ikirun Road, Osogbo; NYSC Secretariat, 40 Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt; Eagle Officers Mess, Gingiya Military Barracks, Gusau Road, Sokoto; and NYSC Secretariat, Federal Secretariat Complex, Yola.

The Corps emphasised that all participants must present original copies of their credentials and travel documents as uploaded during online registration. It added that medical graduates are required to bring along their licenses, registration certificates, and other professional documents for verification.

The statement further noted that graduates who obtained qualifications abroad must submit the original copies of Evaluation Letters issued by the Federal Ministry of Education to the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja and upload acknowledged copies online.

Reiterating the importance of the exercise, the NYSC said, “Only persons physically seen with credentials, physically verified and cleared would be deployed, exempted, or excluded from National Service.”

The Corps urged all affected foreign-trained graduates to comply strictly with the verification guidelines and appear at their designated centres as scheduled. It also reminded applicants that the online registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation was extended by 48 hours following network challenges earlier reported by prospective corps members.
