Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, working in collaboration with members of a local vigilante group, have arrested two suspected armed robbers and recovered a locally made cut-to-size Danne gun with three live cartridges during a crime prevention patrol in the Odogunyan area of the state.
The suspects, identified as Arowolo Damilola, 32, and Adewale Adeyinka, 29, were intercepted during the patrol while carrying a handbag. According to the police, the duo attempted to flee immediately upon sighting the security team but were swiftly apprehended.
