Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has honoured the Commander of the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Shola Jejeloye, for his exceptional gallantry and service excellence at the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) Town Hall Security Meeting held on Thursday at Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos.
The Governor presented the award to Jejeloye alongside several senior police officers in recognition of their professionalism, dedication and outstanding contributions to public safety across the state.
According to a statement posted on the Rapid Response Squad’s social media, the honour “underscores the Commander’s dedication, professionalism, and exemplary service,” describing the recognition as a reflection of his unwavering commitment to securing Lagos.
The RRS noted that the Governor’s commendation reinforces the state’s confidence in the Squad’s crucial role in safety and security operations, adding that Jejeloye’s award further strengthens public trust in the Agency’s work.
The LSSTF Town Hall Security Meeting is an annual event where the state reviews security strategies, acknowledges outstanding service, and updates stakeholders on ongoing efforts to enhance safety across Lagos.
