The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has issued a warning to motorists, emphasizing that smoking, eating, or drinking while driving constitutes a traffic offence under the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law of 2018.
According to a poster shared on LASTMA’s official X handle @followlastma on Wednesday, April 9, offenders risk having their vehicles impounded, three months imprisonment or six months of community service.
