A tanker driver and his assistant were severely burnt on Monday after their tanker reportedly suffered brake failure, rammed into a commuter bus and fell while descending Otedola Bridge towards Berger, Lagos. According to an eyewitness, the tanker lost control while descending the bridge before crashing into the bus and overturning, spilling its contents onto the road. The Rivers State Police Command has relieved two senior officers, including the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Abuloma Division, of their duties following allegations that suspected cultists renovated a police outpost under their jurisdiction.
